Points Chaud Empowerments
The Ecclesia Catholica Chaotica is actively working the Points Chaud, The Points Chauds system was developed by Tau Allen Greenfield, based on work with Docteur Michael Bertiaux, in the mid-1980's. The origins of the concept lie in Haitian Voodoo, and Dr. Bertiaux developed a system of 16 points for use in his Ordo Templi Orientis Antiqua. Tau Allen Greenfield expanded the system to include 97 points and mapped them to the degrees of Memphis-Misraim.

Research Groups
ECC is proud to host a number of Research Groups , both academic and scientific in scope. For example, historical research, original papers and presentations, peer reviewed documentation of experiments, etc.
-
Sacrament Research Group - Inspired by Abba Dositheos of the Coptic Gnostic Church, the purpose of this Research Group is to get a general overview of how the sacraments have been implemented historically in both the Apostolic and Gnostic traditions. The focus of phase 2 is to develop our own sacraments as they will be used within the ECC. At the conclusion of phase 2 we will have developed all seven sacraments and will then begin to offer these as service to the general public.
-
Spiritualist Chapel of Lucky Hoodoo - which has a three fold purpose - to explore the traditions of the Lucky Hoodoo Grimoire in Voudon Gnostic Workbook as a tool to develop the skills of spirit contact and mediumship, to explore the various methodologies of traditional Hoodoo and Spiritualism, and to explore the concept of Luck in various world religions and folk traditions.

He composed a Gnostic Mass called the Fraction du Pain or “Breaking of the Bread.” Please note that this rite is written in French. We also have an English translation by Malgwyn Evans. For more information on Doinel and his Church, please see The Structure and Liturgy of the French Gnostic Church of Jules Doinel by Tau Apiryon of Ecclesia Gnostica Catholica.
